Fiddle Leaf Fig
Looking for something to step up your interior decorating? Look no further than the Fiddle Leaf Fig! You can find this 'IT' plant in all the Home Magazines.
This wildly popular plant is most admired for it's big, dramatic, violin-shaped, waxy dark green foliage. The Fiddle Leaf Fig will surely be the standout amongst your plant collection.
CARE
As popular as this plant might be, its not the best plant for everyone. The Fiddle Leaf Fig has specific needs that it might not be able to get in every home.
This plant loves bright indirect light or filtered direct light. Watering is best done when the top half of soil is dry. In this case, its better to under water then to over water.
Once you find the perfect spot for your new Fiddle, try not to move it. This plant does not enjoy being moved around and will result to it dropping leaves.
Lastly, to keep this gorgeous plant looking it best, wipe off any collection of dust. Doing so helps to unclog the plants pores which helps regulate toxins in the air.
FYI
Brown spots on a Fiddle Leaf Fig are likely caused by over watering. If your houseplant does not have proper drainage, and is watered too frequently, root rot will occur and subsequently, browned leaves. Be sure to let the roots of your Fiddle Leaf Fig dry out slightly between waterings!
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
We guarantee that our customers receive plants in good and healthy condition. Live plants will most likely become droopy or fatigued during shipping. We recommend unpackaging your plant as soon as possible and placing it in proper light conditions. Water your plant if the soil is dry to the touch and watch your plant perk up over the coming hours and days. Do Not re-pot your new plant for at least 5-7 days. This will help avoid any additional stress.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the condition that your plant arrives in, please let us know within 5 days of receiving it so we can take the steps to correct this. You and your plants happiness are very important to us!
LET US DO THE DIRTY WORK!
Would you like your new plant potted? For an extra $5 we'll pot your new plant friend in a standard terracotta pot and fresh soil. Just leave a message in the "add a note" section at checkout.
