6in Rat Tail Cactus
The Rat Tail Cactus, is one of the most interesting cactus' to grow, in my opinion. Scientifically named, Aporocactus Flagelliformis but gets its nickname due to its long spinley stems. This plant is a native to Mexico and has the potential to grow to 6 feet in length at maturity. The overall color of the plant is green while young but the stems age to an almost beige color. With the right care, this plant will bloom and shoot out beautiful frangant flowers of various colors!
If you're looking for an interesting, low maintenence plant then the Rat Tail Cactus is for you!
CARE
Caring for the Rat Tail Cactus is super easy! Place it in your brightest window and watch how long it gets. Water less in cold seasons, only when soil is completely dry.
Use a well draining cactus soil and fertilize in the Spring and Summer months.
These plants look best in hanging planters due to their draping nature.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
We guarantee that our customers receive plants in good and healthy condition. Live plants will most likely become droopy or fatigued during shipping. We recommend unpackaging your plant as soon as possible and placing it in proper light conditions. Water your plant if the soil is dry to the touch and watch your plant perk up over the coming hours and days. Do Not re-pot your new plant for at least 5-7 days. This will help avoid any additional stress.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the condition that your plant arrives in, please let us know within 5 days of receiving it so we can take the steps to correct this. You and your plants happiness are very important to us!
LET US DO THE DIRTY WORK!
